Out of all the Spin-off lines Hasbro had released during the run time of the fourth generation, Equestria Girls was by far the most popular with the release of over 300 dolls durings its run plus the tons of media that got released as well such as movies, specials and other webisodes. After the fourth generation had ended many people wondered what the fate would be for the Equestria Girls line...

Yesterday images have surfaced of possibly a new generation of Equestria girls, this time with the main characters of the current generation minus Hitch. From the images shown we can see that the dolls are more diverse than the previous generation with at least different heights and possibly body types for the dolls. Their faces are also more diverse reflecting their personality more. From what I'm seeing so far I quite like them! 

Another image showing Pipp also shows what the packaging might look like. It also comes with tiara which you can wear yourself. Notice though that all the text is blurred out so "Equestria Girls" might not even be his line's name though it seems a bit... unlikely in my opinion.

Aside from these two images we have no other information for now. However seeing as around this time Hasbro usually showcases their products for the upcoming year I won't be surprised if we get more information in a few weeks. What do you think of this new Generation of Equestria Girls? Back in August we learned that the line of My Little Pony Bishoujo statues would not end with the mane 6 and Sunset Shimmer, but that Princess Luna and Princess Celestia were going to be added. Now, just before the end of the year, Kotobukiya reveals the final (unpainted) sculpt design for both of the human versions. They also show the final human + pony version of Princess Luna separately, and we expect them to share the pony design of Princess Celestia soon.

Let's talk about one of the youngest MLP Lines: The Playskool line, it was 2015 when we saw them for the first time. During that year we were also introduced to the Rainbow Dash Glow Pony, a plush that lights up and makes sound when you press her tummy. So far nothing interesting right?

Well yesterday I went to a French site and noticed a listing with a Glow Pony Starsong as seen above. I though to myself, perhaps it's just a listing for a new Glow Pony, but I couldn't find anything about an upcoming Starsong one. So, what if it's a prototype? Then I looked further and I came to the conclusion: Starsong was supposed to be the Glow Pony plush instead of Rainbow Dash.

Steven Anne has posted this tweet. It's actually about the Dr. Strange and Hulkbuster figures but there's quite something interesting shown as well. Behind the two a concept for a Guardians of Harmony Figure can be seen, well... the packaging. At first sight it looks like a normal one but notice the logo in the top corner... Instead of the regular one (with the new colors) this one also mentions the movie so perhaps this Guardians of Harmony Toy will be related to the movie or perhaps the whole line will.

As for now it's just speculation but it's quite interesting. Let's hope we find more information soon. Thanks to Splash Lights Media for the heads up!

Yesterday a white prototype for a Queen Chrysalis Vinyl was spotted but now Nightmare Moon has also been spotted alongside Queen Chrysalis. These prototypes also have some of their colors already as well. Does this mean they will be released soon? Several people think of a Halloween release. I guess we just have to wait.

Some of us already saw this coming as all the ponies from the Funko Mystery minis are always released as large vinyls as well. So today a Prototype for an upcoming Queen Chrysalis Funko Vinyl figure has been spotted. Its unknown with who she will be paired (probably Nightmare Moon) and when she will be released. We will keep you updated.

Yesterday we reported that several new MLP Funko Mystery Minis prototypes had been found. It seems like there are more on the way. It was already quite clear that Princess Celestia and Apple Bloom were also going to be part of the next wave. But it turns out Cheese Sandwich will join the line as well! Does this mean the next regular Vinyl release will consist of Maud Pie, Queen Chrysalis and Cheese Sandwich?

And it seems like the third series of the MLP Funko Mystery Minis have been revealed. Well at least there prototypes. These were given to people during the Funko Fundays. And of course not all were shown. But it seems like the latest waves are going to be included. This is because all the MLP Vinyl figures will eventually end up as a mystery mini. Thats why we're seeing Princess Luna, Shining Armor and the CMC.

But this goes the other way as well. The Discord Mystery Mini was released first. Only after that he appeared as a regular Funko alongside Daring Do and Rarity.
It seems like this is going to be the case again as we see two new characters: Maud Pie and Queen Chrysalis. Eventually these will end up as regular vinyls as well I presume.
No other information is known. We will keep you guys updated.

It seems like we finally know who the next Funko Vinyl Figures are gonna be! This time we have a total of 3 ponies. I'm talking about the CMC! These prototypes were spotted during the Funko tour. Let's hope we get some images soon of them finished.

So far we know that the next ponies in line for the Funko Vinyl Line are Shining Armor, Princess Cadance and Spike. However we don't know much about them right now like a possible release date. We do however now have images of their prototypes! These ones were available on Gemini for $350 each. That's quite a lot of money!

In the storm of new releases from yesterday (links below) we forgot to mention that a prototype image of the Cutie Mark Magic Glamour Glow Princess Cadance figure was found too. While it's not that big of a news item, it's fun to see how basic the idea for Cadance was. They simply used a show vector and added pink hearts on her leg to indicate the location of glowing hearts.
A picture of her comb was also added: pink with gold accents and the handle contains the crystal heart / Cadance's Cutie Mark. We didn't see this comb at the German Toy Fair, so we'll have to wait a little while to see the final looks of it.
The prototype image doesn't seem to contain the Zapcode that she will get in her release, perhaps the plans on the codes where not final when this design was suggested.

About a week ago Hot Topic had revealed and listed images of the upcoming Princess Luna and Celestia Funko Vinyl figures. The original release date was 4 November 2014 but since a lot of people didn't find her that day in stores. (and the days after) it seemed like Hot Topic most likely made a typo.

The release date will now be the 24th of November and for Celestia the 25th for some reason.
In the mean time, have a close look at this awesome Prototype of Princess Luna! I wonder however if her mane will be indeed art-transparent. I hope so! It really looks great.

I returned home this morning and I was greeted by two packages. In one of them was a Sunset Breezie and I was supposed to get a Derpy Blind Bag as well. Turned out I got something completely different and something really interesting...
UPDATE: The Fluttershy blind bag is included in the Ponyville Party Game and is not fake!

As you can see in the top picture I received this interesting Fluttershy Blind Bag figure. She was anything like any blind bag I had ever seen yet. I started to compare her with my Wave 10 Fluttershy and I noticed the following things:

- Her tail is completely unpainted
- Her eyes are placed a bit higher but that can be coincidence
- Her hair color is much lighter and less vibrant then the wave 10 one
- Her glitter is INSIDE the body and not glued one like the regular ones.

Actually the only Blind Bags I remember to have glitter inside of them are the ones that came with those Russian Suprise Eggs. But still it's really strange. She also does have a production code under her hoof. Even though some numbers are worn off the code says 41321 which means she was made on the 12th of May 2014 (guide here)

It seems like a new Funko Prototype has poppep up. But this time it is one of a Fluttershy Mystery Mini figure, we actually don't see much of those. As you can see the whole body is white. I wonder which color it's suposed to be painted in, because I don't know if the black on the Mini's is painted on or part of the plastic itself. If you know more information let us know!

In addition to the Princess Celestia and Discord Funko POP! Prototypes that were found 2 days ago. We also got pictures of a Spitfire one as well! We hope to see her in full color soon but we will of course let you know when we find images!

Good news for those who are fan of the Funko POP! Line. After several Pony Funko POP! It seems like there will be more. Right now prototype images of a 4 inch Princess Celestia have been found. But an 8 Inch one of Discord as well! We have no further information. But we will let you know when we find out more!

This strange brushable was just found on Taobao. As you can see it's Fluttershy with some huge Butterfly-like wings with glitter. We don't know if someone was just being creative. But since the body doesn't have any wings it's very likely this is a prototype! We hope we can find more information soon!

There will probably be a few people who have one or more wave 1 blind bag. And some of them might even still have the original promotional pamphlet that came with it (sadly they stopped with this in the later waves). For those who don't have them (anymore), we've made a scan of said pamphlet above the post. Notice anything unusual? Yes. The mane 6 looks totally different from the actual blind bags! After some research I noticed that some promotional images from Hasbro also contained the different mane 6 blind bags (hooray for better quality images!).

Today we've added a category in the MLP Blind Bag Database for prototype and error blind bags. This new category contains all ponies that are not officially released in any wave or set but has been commonly seen on eBay and/or Taobao. Most of these figures are also in our personal collection. Besides images the database also contains a little description why a certain blind bag is not as they're supposed to be (e.g. missing glitter, wrong cutie mark, etc.). While the ponies currently is not a definite list, the 32 ponies we've currently added are a great start.
If you own or see another prototype or error blind bag, don't hesitate to submit it!
