After the end of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic series with 102 issues and the My Little Pony: Generations comics we were officially out of monthly issued comics by IDW. That will end soon as IDW today announces a brand new comic series that will follow after the event from the My Little Pony: A New Generation movie.

After a run of 9 years and over 100 issues, the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comics series by IDW is coming to an end. In September issue #102 (Jeremy Whitley & Andy Price) will be the last comic in the series, that covered many story lines throughout the years.

We're back from our holiday and got quite a lot of interesting store finds piled up from the past two weeks! Over on Kotaku, Hasbro has exclusively revealed the first details and pages of the upcoming Guardians of Harmony comic line, which was announced back when the first GoH figures were shared.
The first issue will be released on December 1st as a digital comic, and a "full print version" will be available in February 2017. It was not mentioned whether the latter is a physical release of the first issue or the paperback.

The newly announced Princess Twilight Sparkle comic, part of the My Little Pony Animated series, is available for pre-order. This comic features the season 4 episodes Princess Twilight Sparkle Part 1 and Part 2 from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV-series. This results in 148 pages of perfect stills from the show, bundled in one paperback comic.
It's set for a December 20 release, but pre-orders are now available for $7.99 each.

Looks like a new Paperback for the Friends Forever comics series has arrived. The 8th issue will contain issues #29 - #33. The cover is Retailer Incentive variant of #33 and made by Trish Forstner. You can pre-order this issue now for $19.99 and it will be released on February 21, 2017

Seems like I skipped over last month. Whoops... Anyway IDW just announced their MLP Comics for November this year. A total of two to be exact. Have all the information below!

Today the 44th issue of the Friendship is Magic Series comics has been released. This issue contains the second part of the "Ponies of Dark Water" Story arc. It's written by Thom Zahler and the artist is Tony Fleecs. A total of 6 covers are available. What's interesting is that the Fried Pie one has changed as it was Sunset Shimmer before but the final version shows Starlight Glimmer in her place. The covers are:

Amazon has listed a new paperback for the Friendship is Magic Comic Series. This 11th issue will contain two Story Arcs. The one of "Ponies of Dark Water" and the "Ponyville Elections one" This means that this one will contain 5 comics instead of the usual 4. You can now pre-order it on Amazon for $19.99 and it will be released on January 10, 2017

The normal FiM series already has 3 but now the Friends Forever Series will get an omnibus release as well.The omnibus contains Friends Forever Issues #1-#12 and it's up for pre-order on Amazon for $24.99. It's that time of the month where IDW Announces their comics. And this time we're looking at the solicitations for September. Have a look at all the announced stuff below!

Friendship is Magic #42 has been released and this one is about Pinkie Pie making her own comic book. So expect a lot of chaos. It's written by Katie Cook and drawn by Andy Price. A total of 5 comic covers are available.

Last week we asked you whether you are fond of ponies with glitters, and it turns our most of you are! We're a tad late with this news, but it's still on sale so no need to worry! Yes, Humble Bundle teamed up with IDW again to release a second My Little Pony Humble Comic Bundle this week.
