In need of some My Little Pony gift ideas for this year's holidays, but haven't found the perfect gift yet? After the release of My Little Pony: A New Generation on Netflix there is so much to choose from, but we're happy to help! At MLP Merch we've been following the release of new pony figures, toys and merchandise since 2014, and have compiled a new gift guide for the 2021 holidays.

We aim to make a guide with gifts for everyone: from budget-friendly ponies to flagship releases, and gifts for small kids to adult collectors. We're happy to announce that our first book My Little Pony Collectibles is now available! As we shared last month this is our contribution to the 35th Anniversary celebration of My Little Pony. In the book we take you on a journey through time from the very first ponies, all the way to the 4th generation. Through this history we highlight several sets and facts, resulting in a colorful 96-page book, counting 150 photos of ponies from ourselves and fellow collectors from around the world!

First of all we'd like to give a very big and kind thanks to Amberley Publishing for giving us the opportunity to make our book reality!

Remember our post on the first of April this year? We kept everyone in doubt on whether the announcement was a joke or reality, but today we can finally reveal the answer to you: it's real, and it's coming next month!

My Little Pony books come in all shapes, sizes and themes. AR-enabled book? Sure! Crochet ponies? Of course! A cooking book? Well... there really wasn't one yet. But that won't be the case for long, as we just spotted the My Little Pony Baking Book on Amazon.
The 144-page thick book contains 50 My Little Pony-inspired baking creations, like the tasty rainbow cake that's shown on the cover. In the description some of these recipes are mentioned, like a pizza, cookies and of course cupcakes. All is written by Christi Johnstone, a baker and writer who has a certain sweet-tooth for these types of books, as she also wrote a book on baking with Peeps.
For $15.99 you can now place a pre-order for this book. However, you're going to have to postpone your ingredients haul: the release date is currently set to April of 2019.

Have a Lyra in a Piano just because there aren't any images so far. Anyway Amazon has listed a very interesting book titled: My Little Pony Cutie Mark Crew Collector's Guide. According to the description this book will contain a overview of all the released Cutie Mark Crew figures + artworks and fun facts. The book will also contain a poster to check off your collection.

Are you a fan of crocheting? Or maybe you actually want to learn to do so! Anyways for those there's a very interesting book coming up simply called: "My Little Pony Crochet" by Jana Withley and published by Thunder Bay Press. The book contains 12 patterns to make adorable amigurumi ponies!

It's finally confirmed: the long awaited Captain Celaeno figure from the Walmart-exclusive MLP The Movie line is available in stores! Also included in this post is the Meet the Mane 6 set, new releases from Mexico and some more photos of the Finders Keepers surprise eggs.

After months of keeping a secret we're finally able to share our big project with you: MLP Merch is going to publish a physical book!
Since the first hints at our secret project we've been working tons of hours on writing our first book, which is all about My Little Pony throughout all the generations. Starting with generation 0, the My Pretty Pony range, all the way to the latest G4 releases and Equestria Girls. This means that the book will contain plenty of older generation ponies, something that is not yet present on our own website!
As you might expect, we're not able to fit every pony ever released into a single book. That's why we've decided to primarily write a book about ponies that are special. Either because they have a unique gimmick, were pretty exclusive at release, or have another story behind them.
Of course the book will be available on Amazon, but if everything goes as planned select retailers in the US and UK will have the book in stock too. Though, the release date will be somewhere in the last few months of this year, so you'd have to keep some patience for it!
