My Little Pony Retro Twinkle-Eyed Ponies by Basic Fun
It's been a while since we last heard about the Retro Ponies by Basic Fun. But today we've finally gotten an update. Blain's Farm and Fleet has now listed four new Retro Twinke-eyed ponies.
Even though the first original set had a total of 10 ponies, this set will only include four for now which are: Fizzy, Gingerbread, Skyrocket and Sweet Stuff
According to Basic Fun there's a change they will produce the remaining six and more if these sell well. Talking about sales and availability. As mentioned above these are now listed on Blain's Farm and Fleet. According to several sources they are also planning to release these at Cracker Barrel, Meijers and Toys'R'Us Canada. So if you like these Retro series be sure to purchase them so that more can be made! If you spot these in-stores please let us know as well.
Who is your favorite of the Twinkle-Eyed ponies btw? Mines is Gingerbread.

  1. Wow, cool! Most of these guys are hard to find in decent condition (lookin' at you, Gingy!) and are worth more than the price tag Basic Fun ponies tend to have, so this is a collection I'm looking forward to! Hopefully I can actually find them; my local stores are terrible at stocking new releases!

On an unrelated note, the Royal Gala Collection is now available to order!

I definitely want to get my hands on these guys, too!

  15. I was so psyched when I saw Basic Fun was A) continuing the Retro G1 Pony line and B) was making the sparkle eye ponies. My sister had Masquerade and Gingerbread when we were growing up and Gingerbread was my favorite too. I'll definitely need to track her down now.
