It was originally posted on their Twitter, but below we have some screenshots of new stuff (though, not the best quality).
We can at least see the Oh My Giggles Pinkie Pie and several sets from late 2018 / early 2019 in there. A new collection set containing the Mane 6, Princess Luna and Princess Celestia is on display too, as well as some large Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle heads. Expect to hear more on these later this weekend!
While we couldn't spot them just yet, we expect the just revealed Rainbow Tail Surprise ponies to be on display too. Also note the large "Join the Squad" sign, which might be the official name of the 2019 My Little Pony line-up. Let's see how Hasbro is going to use this term during the presentations!
Well, Tomoroow is the day, We will see the surprises that Hasbro will have for this 2019 and 2020 about My Little Pony / Equestria Girls and more!! ^.^
ReplyDeleteSo far it just looks like stuff that's already on the shelves. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get to see the full lineup.
ReplyDelete"Join the Squad" is just the slogan for the theme. The commercial for the singles revealed that they were to be called "Rainbow Squad."
ReplyDeleteOughta be “join the herd.” ;p
ReplyDeleteStill nothing? At what time the Fair will be open?
ReplyDeleteDon't forget timezones but the Toy Fair is open since 3 hours.

I only can see a bunch of mane 6 repeats and another "Super special collectors edition" with nothing more than another mane 6 pack with the princesess...
ReplyDeleteI'll stay sceptical until tomorrow if they have something else...
I hope that there will be toys of the kirins and more hippogriffs !!! (I'm still hoping for a Queen novo hippogriff doll)
ReplyDeleteHasbro didn't mention MLP at all during their brand showcase.Fortnite got more of a top billing than a franchise that they used to promote their entire presence at TFNY.
ReplyDeleteIt's because they're showing everything through Hasbro Pulse, which is a brand that focuses on the fans and giving the fans what they want. Hasbro clearly didn't listen to any of the fans when designing this years toys, as seen above (being filled with repeats, repackages, and for the first time ever, no new characters (not even previously released background ponies)), so MLP would not fit in.
DeleteOnly the Pinkie Tickle Me Elmo clone is new, I think. Literally everything else is old. And I guess we're never getting those EqG playsets. This is also the first time that I can remember that Hasbro didn't release a playset of any kind for MLP.
DeleteAs for Pulse, I just really wish we'd get more Fan Series stuff but I doubt it.
There is actually a playset as well as the new "seapony in cloud" figures but somehow no site did bothered showing those closeup.
DeleteYO WHAT
DeleteWhich characters are the seaponies? What does the playset look like? I wonder why no one took pictures of those, they seem like the most important things.
Also, we're getting a set with show-accuarate brushable sized Luna! And Minty.
And most excitingly of all, in the Cutie Mark Crew section, packaging for 2 new waves after wave 4 were shown! Sadly they're all in the egg style - I really miss the little cubicles 8\ still, maybe we'll get a full young 6! Just maybe...
It's the Mane 6 as seaponies again, they are in the background of various photos including the one I posted a bit up, they are standing to the right of the "display packaging" single brushables.
DeleteI tried to zoom it larger, they are supposed to be single brushables and my favorites design so far.

Those fortnite toys do like nice.
DeleteNow it's Official!!, Hasbro announces the end of the Friendship is Magic series in season 9!

I will really miss everything that has been of this great series and its charming characters, I hope a little more of them in the future, but while to enjoy these latest episodes and adventures.
Not too impressed with what I've seen so far..
ReplyDeleteWhich isn't too hard considering Hasbro forbid the actual interesting stuff to be photographed.
DeleteSaw retro flutter ponies on Instagram!! And it looks like a possible retro play set. Hard to see from the photos
ReplyDeletei wish this would be sold in the netherlands we dont get most of the exclusive sets
