International customers will be able to pre-order a statue through Entertainment Earth, where it's listed for $99.99. The release date in the US is set for late June / early July 2019, so we'd have to keep our patience for a few more months!

After a long series of teasers Kotobukiya finally made the Pinkie Pie bishoujo statue available for pre-order today. Not only that, but the new listings contain additional photos of the figure and the "final product may vary" notice has been dropped. We couldn't spot any major changes so soon, but this is the first time the figure could be seen in such detail! You'll find these photos further down this post.

I preordered it on AmiAmi when the preorders began on Thursday, she's $88.87 over there rather than $99.99, and comes out in May rather than July there, too.

Only thing I'm unsure about is the shipping charge that AmiAmi will charge, which is not shown at time of order. I suspect it'll be something like $15, which is what Kotobukiya is charging. There is still plenty of time so I'm going to wait to at least see what amazon.co.jp will charge for this.
DeleteMh..... It's clear that Hasbro is gonna put an end to FiM soon enough. Have you noticed they are not making much new merchandize lately? I mean there is the Cutie Mark Crew thing, there are the toys inspired to the upcoming Christmas special, but aside that, they are not pushing MLP too much in terms of toys, am I wrong?
ReplyDeleteI do see the display of MLP products at Target shrink greatly. I'm still waiting for the latest wave of EG Minis to fully release. Perhaps a lot of the big toy push happens between Thanksgiving and Christmas?
DeleteThe item is now available from amazon.co.jp for delivery to the US. 9588 yen + 1200 shipping = 95.95 usd. Arrival date for me is Jun 3-6 2019. Time to cancel my entertainment earth preorder.
ReplyDeleteI just got this yesterday from Amazon Japan and it looks great! The pony is NOT removable from the stand. :( The human comes separate from the stand and there is a peg to attach her to it. And she wears bloomers.
