Two week ago (sorry for skipping a week!) we asked you when you started watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. We were wondering how many first-hour fans there are still out there, and we are not disappointed! Almost 24% of you started watching directly from the first episode, and another 18% joined later in the season. The largest group is the fans that first watched FiM during season 2 or 3 (28%) followed by 20% during the 4th or 5th season. Only a handful of fans joined later on during season 6 or later. Interesting to see is that the release of the movie introduced 2% of you to Friendship is Magic.
This week we'd like to know what your thoughts are on this year's SDCC exclusive ponies! We've heard some mixed opinions in the past week, so we're looking forward to fitting these thoughts in actual numbers.
You can find the current poll below or in the side bar on the right
of the website, or towards the bottom of the page if you're using a
smartphone.
Yeah, I expected a lot better considering the previous years. They're not bad, but compared to past exclusives like Derpy, DJ Pon-3, Chicken Pinkie, and Discord with Fluttershy, they're pretty lackluster. I mean, the movie just came out, why not do a new Tempest figure or something related to the more recent season? Hell, something from the latest EQG releases would've made more sense.
ReplyDeletehmm, as the options in the poll are more than anything to be pure disappointment, negativity; just a nice answer?!; really?!
ReplyDeleteWe know from the past that people are usually very positive about new releases, and for the less enthousiastic people we'd like to know why. That's why it may seem as a poll with lots of negative answers :)
DeleteNot bad...I LOVE the 80s theme, but I'm not crying over not going to the con because it's not as if I need more mane-six just for those accessories. Be cooler if they used other ponies, especially ones who haven't been made into figures. But oh well, guess I'm glad they didn't. ;p
ReplyDeleteSame here I'm not going either because I have no money to get there
DeleteIt's funny because I sincerely think "they are amazing"(I voted that way) yea! I really love the designs and how they look and the entire 80's stuff. But I just don't need them :p
ReplyDeleteThey're nice i guess, i expected something more from a set that wants to conmemorate the 35th anniversary instead of just 80's outfits that has nothing to do with vintage MLP, maybe G1 ponies in G4 style would have been neat!
ReplyDeleteBut on the other side, i hope for something more to be revealed, i REALLY want some EqG exclusive, we didn't had something since the Sci-Twi doll from 2015 :/
