So what's interesting about this set is the way they look. We know that some show-accurate Mane Six Ponies have been released not long ago. But those are with the bodies of the brushables. When looking at the articulation it's best compared to the Guardians of Harmony Line if you look at the way they are articulated. They miss the articulation at their knee-joints but that's maybe because of their size compared to that of an adult pony. We know that during the NY Toy Fair no new regular Guardians of Harmony Toys were released. Could it be that Hasbro dropped the whole "Guardian" theme and now makes sets which have a bit more "everyday" theme? Like this set for example.
If this theory is true I certainly hope we'll see more sets like this. Maybe we finally see a GOH-like Rarity or perhaps the Princesses.
Anyway the set is listed on Amazon UK but not available yet. If we know more we of course let you know. Have the listing below!
Hasbro stopped using GOH for the action figures a long time, even the later movie ones didn't have the logo anymore - Fluttershy didn't, Captain Celaeno didn't, etc.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I want the CMC right now, they are so cuuute! :3
ReplyDeleteOh by the way, I hate they make those big boxes for the figures, it's a waste of space. Since I'm a box keeper, I'm having hard time storing them all >,<
ReplyDeleteMy theory: Hasbro is getting rid of all the trademark names to their sub-ranges for MLP to save money for G5 Pony Production in 2020.
ReplyDeleteG5 mlp really I don't think Hasbro confirmed that one yet
DeleteYou can't just leave a trademark contract whenever you want, their GOH trademark still goes to 2021.
DeleteSo cute I'm putting this one on my mlp wish list
ReplyDeleteI would love it if the GoH line would continue. Still hoping for a fan series Luna to go with her NMM counterpart.
ReplyDeleteWhen they be released I want them so bad
ReplyDeleteMy sister loves them so if my mom say yes then me and my sister will be happy if my mom say no then we will be disappointed
