Store Finds: EqG Minis, Reboot Dolls, Sleepwear & More
It's a been a while since our last store finds post (mainly because of HWCon, NY Toy Fair and our secret project), but still wanted to get the submits of last weeks out! Some info might not be new, so we hope you don't mind too much :)
If you happen to find brand new stuff in your local store, then feel free to write us a small message with photos.

MLP Merch Poll #164MLP Merch Poll #163 Results
Two weeks ago we asked you whether your interest in blind bag figures has increased after the Cutie Mark Crew announcement, and this poll clearly shows that it did! While the blind bag waves are technically not going away, the Cutie Mark Crew line of figures looks to be the next step in small MLP characters. Over 44% is absolutely more interested in blind bags now, and 26% is still on the same level. 19% doesn't like the CMC figures over the original blind bags, and another 8% likes neither of them.

Around a week ago we learned about the Snap On Fashions Rainbow Dash fashion style figure that would complete the new mane 6 set with interchangeable clothes. The original announcement only included a picture of Rainbow Dash's gala dress, but the second dress wasn't visible. At the NY Toy Fair we got a glimpse of the packaging, but not a clear enough view for her second outfit.
But, surprise surprise, she's already listed online! Detmir has all 6 ponies listed, and Rainbow Dash is shown in her complete alternate dress-up! The purple dress and gold accents combines nicely with her accessories.
However, we did notice something odd: The NYTF figure was packaged in a MLP:FiM themed box, whereas this listing has a MLP the Movie logo on it. Was this figure perhaps planned to be released last year?
Thanks to Tomo for the heads-up!

Welcome back to our yearly megapost on everything My Little Pony at the New York Toy Fair, which started last weekend. This year the My Little Pony stand differed quite a lot from the previous year, as there's almost no mention of MLP The Movie anymore, while it's only a few months after the release in theaters. Instead the focus for this year is cute & chibi: Cutie Mark Crew figures, cute plush and Equestria Girls Minis vinyls will see their debut this year, as well as the continuation of the Equestria Girls reboot. In the brushables department we see the first merch for the new season pop-up, plenty of fashion style ponies and the release of new molded mane figures.
As mentioned in previous editions, we were not able to attend the toy fair ourselves, and are using photos of people that shared them online. All photo credits can be found at the bottom of the post.

Note: Some announcements contain spoilers for season 8 characters and themes. If you do not wish to read any spoilers for the upcoming season, please skip the brushables section.
Previous editions: 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017

Kotobukiya Announces Equestria Girls Bishoujo Series
While we were all focusing on the Toy Fair in New York, over in Japan at the Wonderful Festival a completely different announcement regarding My Little Pony merch was made: Kotobukiya is partnering with Hasbro to create actual Bishoujo statues! Directly during the convention they also put out an official statement and better image on their Facebook page confirming Shunya Yamashita as the illustrator and more figures from My Little Pony and GI Joe coming too.

The teaser images shows a highly detailed Equestria Girls Pinkie Pie, but also a regular pony version of her. It's unknown if these will be combined in a single figure, or if both will be released as separate statues. Personally I wouldn't mind either option!

At the time of writing no further information on release dates, prices or actual product designs is known. But once the release is inbound, there's some good news for oversees fans: The statues of Kotobukiya are usually well available outside of Japan.

Thanks to Ayu, Amanda & shadowcat456 for the heads-up!

It's that time of the year again when Hasbro shares a lot of information about upcoming merch: The NEw York Toy Fair. After their presentation (which didn't had any specific news about My Little Pony) they've published their Media Kits containing part of their line-up for this year. Some of them have already been revealed (and some of them are already available) so we will post about the brand new ones! For example, a whole Holiday themed line will be released at the end of the year including new Pearlized ponies!  Have all the My Little Pony and Equestria Girls news below!

My Little Pony Ultimate Equestria Collection Brushables
Our apologies for not posting these earlier. We were both asleep and we both work now so it's a bit later than usual. Anyway Hasbro has once again mailed us with information and high quality items of two very interesting items. The first one is the official announcement of the Cutie Mark Crew Figures and the second item is in my opinion just awesome.

MLP Merch Poll #163MLP Merch Poll #162 Results
Last week we asked you what your thoughts were on the Equestria Girls Friendship Power dolls. It doesn't occur often, but the results are pretty mixed this time! Most votes were for the indifferent option, and the group of people that dislike the figures occupy the second spot. Third place is, luckily, for the people who think they're perfect, and the bottom two options were either 'Good' and 'Not sure yet'. These results are pretty close to the earlier responses about the new Equestria Girls dolls, so it seems that a new outfit didn't turn the sentiment.

Store Finds: Valentines, Tempest Shadow & Much More!
This week we're doing things a bit differently in the store finds post. We've got quite a lot of submits, and instead of splitting it by the person who submitted the news, we're dividing the post per store. This way it's a bit easier to see which sets were found in every store.
If you happen to find brand new stuff in your local store, then feel free to write us a small message with photos.

Better Look at Cutie Mark Crew Blind Bags
Only two days ago we reported on the Blind Bag box of Cutie Mark Crew figures, which is going to be a fresh reboot of the My Little Pony blind bag series. While the box was nice and clear, the 24 included characters were only available in a rather small resolution. Luckily we've now managed to get detailed images of some of these blind bags! Above and below we have the pony versions of Applejack, Fluttershy and Shining Armor, Equestria Girls Rarity and a better look at the blind bag/box/container. So far we couldn't spot a code on the container, but it might be on the other side.

Exclusive First Look at Cutie Mark Crew Blind Bags!
At the first announcement, only two weeks ago, we've read tons of positive responses on the Cutie Mark Crew series that Hasbro will introduce this year. After a bit of digging we managed to get more information about the first set of blind bags that will be released alongside the 5-packs. And not just any bit of info, but the complete line-up for wave 1 + box design!
The Cutie Mark Crew blind bags line continues with the regular 24 characters per box, but this time you'll get either a pony, seapony or Equestria Girl. In all three categories the mane 6 is featured, but one is missing: a seapony Rarity is not included. This first wave, which is named 'Cafeteria Cuties', the totals come up at 12 ponies, 5 seaponies and 7 Equestria Girls.
Every character comes with a unique accessory and a 'home' in which they fit, and these can be stacked on top of each other to easily store and display your collection of Cutie Mark Crew figures.
Below we have the list of characters that will be included in the first wave, which is expected to be released in May of 2018. Also listed is the official description for this new line of blind bags.

We always like to be a bit careful when it comes to spoilers. Season 8 might not be far off and Hasbro did already publish a video that kinda showed what is going to happen this season. But just in case...

MLP Merch Poll #162MLP Merch Poll #161 Results
Last week we asked you whether you think the Cutie Mark Crew figures are the cutest My Little Pony figures to date. Even when taking the Playskool and other figures in mind, almost 38% of you think they are! Another 28% thinks they're cute, but not more than some other figures and 13% wants to see them in person before judging. Only 21% doesn't agree at the moment.
