We've been on the look-out for official listings of the Songbird Serenade Pillow Buddy on the Target website, and have finally seen it appear online! There's only one problem: She's listed as Rainbow Dash, while another listing without any specific name shows Rainbow Dash. So which is which?
Aside from this small mystery we've also seen some new My Little Pony The Movie bedroom decorations like comforters, bedding and cushion on the Target website, and a new Twilight Sparkle & pillow combination, released by The Northwest Company.
And be sure to check their line-up of Songbird Serenade clothing too, which are currently Target exclusive.

This fits the reality of what happened when I called around looking for the Songbird Serenade plush. The listing in Target's internal catalog showed the Songbird image, BUT when the employees went to check the stock in the back of the store, the item was always actually Rainbow Dash. It's been a super headache trying to track down this Songbird. I'm wary of what will happen, but I'm thinking of placing an online order anyway and seeing what I get...
ReplyDeleteSame Anon here...I called Target.com's customer support and the agent has confirmed that the two listings' images are inadvertently swapped. The case has been escalated and may take a few days to be corrected. According to the agent, if you order 097-13-1268 you'll get Rainbow Dash and if you order 097-13-1267 you'll get Songbird. Augghh, that would explain all of the troubles I've had all along! Way to go, Target. :\

DeleteThat Target has mislabeled Songbird on their website, and cannot produce the product when people come into the the store, does not surprise me. I've ordered, twice now, a plush of the My Little Pony Seapony plush, one of Rainbow Dash and one of Twilight Sparkle, and gotten something completely different instead.
