If you happen to find brand new stuff in your local store, then feel free to write us a small message with photos.
US - MLP The Movie at Target
It's official: My Little Pony The Movie merch has hit the US! Over at Target you can now get various sets, like the two-packs and 2nd wave of Runway Fashions. They're yet to be added to the Target online store, but some of these sets already start to appear on Amazon.(Thanks to Victor and Samantha)
UK - Book, Lamp & Creative Items
At Tesco in the UK you can now get various new licensed items, including the Illumi-mates Rainbow Dash light, book, coloring tote bag and a paint-your-own Rainbow Dash.(Thanks to fluttershy4)
Singapore - Wave 21
The moment we've been waiting for: A brand new wave of blind bags is coming! There have been quite a lot of changes as of Wave 21, but we'll write a separate post on that later today. As with all releases in Singapore: expect a worldwide release within a few weeks.(Thanks to Joelle)
Singapore - New EqG Minis
At least the Movie Theater set with Juniper Montage and Pinkie Pie has already been spotted at Toys"R"Us, and in the catalogue the Mall Series singles are also announced. Seems the UK is not alone anymore!(Thanks to Joelle and Starshine)
Singapore - Re-release of 8" Styling Size Princesses
And the final update from Singapore is the re-release of the Styling Size (8") Princess Celestia and Princess Cadance. We've seen them before in a late revival of the original series back in 2015, and as far as I can see this is a re-release with new packaging but no other updates.(Thanks to Joelle)
Who is pricing these "clearance" target items? First the power pony singles go on clearance for like $12.99 with the sticker claiming they were originally $15.00 (even though they were really $7.99), and now these too??? Someone at Target needs to be fired.
ReplyDeleteThey aren't marked clearance, but 'As Is', which is code for "we don't know what this is and even if we do it's not supposed to be in this store, so please just buy it and make it go away."
DeleteTarget has a weird merchandise database setup that's hard to explain, but basically in this particular case these toys were shipped to a store that didn't have those specific UPCs set up yet, so they won't scan properly. Aaaaaand instead of waiting for it to be automatically fixed or setting it up themselves... yeah, someone at that store needs to be fired.
On the other hand, my coworkers being idiots has gotten me a lot of really cheap toys in the past, so I won't complain too much about it. It happens a lot around the major toy resets that happen around July and January, so keep your eyes peeled for lucky deals.
Once again Singapore always gets new wave 21 blind bags I haven't even got to get mlp wave 18 wave 19 and wave 20 blind bags yet.
ReplyDeleteI found a pony on sale for $2.06 dollars from the mlp movie Runway Fashion collection. It was priced wrong but still got the $2.06 price. It was supposedly "$2.99" before
ReplyDeleteAnd it was the only one on sale
