Some of the figures look pretty decent, but some others have weird accessories (like fake Blind Bag ponies, or the fact that Twilight Sparkle doesn't even wear her skirt) and another bunch that just looks odd, like Rarity and Fluttershy.
For some it might be an open door that these are bootleg products, but without the packaging it's a whole lot harder to see the difference. The best way to differentiate these from real figures are:
- Compare the colors
- Compare the accessories
- Compare the plastic (the fakes are more glossy)

DeleteTwi does have a skirt - it's tangled in her hair. Even unboxed, these monstrosities should be easy to spot. Plastic shrinkage, wrong colors, crappy joints, etc.

ReplyDeleteI don't think so as they are smaller than the originals and low quality easy-breakable plastic.
DeleteWouldn't fall for 'em; when you zoom in, you see just how badly made they are even if the designs are basically fine. Dash's hair is the most different, obviously. However, I like the look of the pony versions of "Rainbow Dash" and "Applejack" that're included; they look like new characters. xD Pink Rarity too, actually. And Twilight sans pink hair stripes.
