MLP Pinot Noir Blind BagMLP Pinot Noir Blind Bag
And we have a new Blind Bag for you! This one has been spotted on Taobao as well. By doing some research I figured out that she's named Pinot Noir which is a kind of grape. She appeared as a background pony in several episodes. What's interesting is the fact that all of these are based in Manehattan which at least means that she's connected to the ones we found earlier and thereby could be part of some Rarity Themed Blind Bag Waves.

MLP Guardians of Harmony Action Figures Commercial
Hasbro has released two new official commercials. The first one is for the Guardians of Harmony Action figures and it shows some of them like Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie, the Wonderbolts and the large Spike.
The second one is a commercial for the Nightmare Night Friendship is Magic Collection. It showcases all the figures including the chase figures for the Nightmare Night Themed Blind Bag waves as well.

Another Database Update: Blind Bag Cards + Local eBay
We've worked hard on another update, which directly follows up the changes we applied yesterday. First we've changed the eBay links so that you can pick your own region (US, UK, AU, etc.). Simply login to your account and select your preferred location. All links in the database will then change to your region.

Another big change that we've applied is in regard to the Blind Bag Cards Database, where we now show the front and back of each card directly next to each other. We've also added the (missing) cards of Wave 16A, 16B, 17 and 18 to the database. Feel free to send us a mail if you own any cards we don't have scans of yet.

Below you can see a preview (warning: spoilers) of the first chapter that was released as a teaser. (Click the images to enlarge)

MLP Merch Database Now Includes eBay Links
Over the past few years we've gotten dozen of requests to include eBay links in our post and database. While we're not a fan of directly linking to auctions (those links are only valid for a few days or weeks), we've come up with a way to utilize eBay listings without directly linking to them.
As of today every item in our MLP Merch Database has an easy link to eBay search pages matching that item. This is extremely handy for older items that are no longer available on Amazon, or are otherwise hard to list. A good example of this is the CCG and TC database, which would have caused an immense big workload on our side if we were to add Amazon links, but with the eBay button you can quickly search the title of the card and find all matching auctions.

We hope you all enjoy this new feature, but be sure to let us know if you have any feedback. We also plan to implement this on our other sites MH Merch and EAH Merch if the feedback is good :)

Pearlized Brushables Found at Big Lots
We know that the pearlized brushables are not widely available in the US, but as we've heard they are in stock at Big Lots. Personally I have no idea how well know this retailer is, but judging by the amount of stores they have most people in the US will at least be able to locate one.
The figures are $5 there, and for now the first wave has been confirmed to be available: Coloratura, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy & Starlight Glimmer.
Thanks to theshyprinprin for the image!

Wave 18 Blind Bags Spotted + CODES!
After some early scoops on new blind bags we can finally confirm what Wave 18 looks like! The wave has been announced and the main line of figures have embedded glitter, some of them with a more gold-ish tint. The chase figures are still in line with the Nightmare Night theme, which includes Mr. and Mrs. Cake, Raven Inkwell, Minuette and Sprinkle Medley. The core of this wave consists of Wave 8 re-release figures, but there have been several changes, for example: Flim and Flam are not included in this wave.
Below we have a group shot of all ponies, including their blind bag codes. You can get a closer look at the figures in our MLP Blind Bag Database.

Most of you gave a positive answer with 35% saying yes, and another 15% liking some of the new figures. 22% of you think Hasbro could have done a better job, but another 22% fully dislikes them. The other 5% of the votes were from people not liking brushables at all, or had an other opinion all together.

The new brushables that have been spotted as of last week are spreading slowly from Taobao to eBay, but new figures are still popping up. This time on eBay the existence of three more figures was confirmed: a second Rarity figure with a new pose and eye design, a Rainbow Dash figure with a closed mouth and Applejack with new eyes and an open mouth. Above you can get a good look at the comparison between all the characters (do note that a second Fluttershy and Princess Celestia are not included in the picture above).
We were still not able to retrieve further information on the name of the series or addition details on the rebranding, but of course we will share this as soon as we hear it.
Below we have some focus shots of the new figures:

MLP New Blind Bags
A lot of new Blind Bags have been spotted on Taobao. First of all we get a look at the Nightmare Night Themed Mr. Carrot Cake but then we also got a bunch of new characters. You can find them all below. (with the exception of Fancy Pants which you can see in the image above) What's interesting is that almost all of these are Rarity related or they aired in an episode where Rarity was present. This could indicate that they are perhaps the chase figures of Wave 18 which is combined with the Rarity Friendship is Magic Collection set. Still that's just speculation for now but a lot of Rarity Themed Amazon listings have appeared on Amazon lately. (here and here)

You can find all the Blind Bags below and we also included their Animation Counterpart to make it more easier to ID them.

Twilight Sparkle Back in Stock at Build-a-Bear
Build-a-Bear has shared that their Twilight Sparkle plush is back in stock, in both stores and online. The plush figure has not been changed, but people who were not able to order her at the first release will be happy to get another chance.
Below we have listings for Twilight and her accessories on the US Build-a-Bear website, but most stores should have her back in stock too. Other countries might not have Twilight back in stock, or still have her available.
Thanks to Victor for the info!

MLP Possible MLP The Movie Brushables
So far we've seen almost the whole Mane Six in the new Brushable style with the exception of Pinkie Pie and Rarity. But they have now appeared on Ebay. As you can see each of them have a different body as well which was a big wish for most MLP Collectors: More variety in poses. Still it's unknown to which line these belong but they are probably for the movie. Lets hope we'll spot some of these in packaging soon.

Thanks to Aquatic Neon EclipsedFlame for the heads up!

MLP Merch Poll #95MLP Merch Poll #94 Results
Last week we asked you whether you wait for a sale before buying ponies. The results are pretty even, with the most votes going to 'sometimes'. Then it's pretty much divided between no (26%) and yes for non-favorite figures (24%). Besides that 11% always buy ponies during sales, and 3% of the respondents does not buy merch at all.

MLP Rainbow Dash New BrushableMLP Rainbow Dash New Brushable
We first found out about these only three days ago and they are already hot news at the moment. It still unknown to which set these new brushables belong to but it's most likely that these are for the upcoming movie. Anyway a new listing on Taobao has been spotted. This listings shows a new Fluttershy (she was found earlier but we waited to post her until now. Thanks to Ayu and Twilight for the heads up) we also get a first look at the new Rainbow Dash. What's also interesting is the fact that in the group shots you can see that Lyra has an production code on her hoof which makes these indeed official.

I'm curious about Pinkie Pie and Rarity. Let's hope we get more info soon!

Huge Update for the MLP Brushables Database
We've just released a huge update for the MLP Merch Brushables Database which adds 3 new ways to interact with the database. The reason why only the Brushables Database has been updated is that adding these features takes quite some time for our side, and we want to make sure that what we created works smooth and suits your wishes.
So, on to the new features!

Midnight in Canterlot Set Re-released at Toys"R"Us
Those who never got the opportunity to get their hands on a Minty brushable will probably rush to their local Toys"R"Us or their website after reading this: The Midnight in Canterlot set has been re-released, still with all the ponies from the original release back in 2013.
The set is available for $29.99, which sounds like steal to me, and can be bought on the TRU website or in local stores.
While the contents have not changed since the first released, the box has barely been touched either. Only the copyright year was updated to 2016, but the old logo is still their, as well was the 'hub'-logo from the TV-channel that has been renamed to Discovery Family almost 2 years ago.
The re-release of this set may also be the reason why Minty brushables have started to pop-up on eBay and Taobao again as of lately. With this release we don't think that Minty will be featured in another set for the near future.

Thanks to Felipe and Missy for the info!

MLP Possible Reboot Brushables
Today I found something really interesting on Taobao. At first glance they just looked like a lot of regular brushables, but then I noticed something... they have completely new bodies and poses. The figures themselves look great with some new poses. But now comes the question... what are they? Now the seller has a lot of legit MLP Stuff on their site so I think these are real (still they could be fake). The quality of these looks also very great/perfect. So, are they from a third-company or are these possible reboot brushables and are we moving to perhaps Generation 4.5? With the new logo and all going on at the moment as well it seems kinda likely. But perhaps the biggest possibility is the fact that these are for the upcoming movie since the models of the Ponies are different then the show as well. (This is because the movie is made using Toon Boom instead of Flash)

But so far all of this is only speculation. For now I just think we have to wait although this makes me very eager to see what's next for the future of My Little Pony.

Feel free to share the images and article but please include a link to our blogpost for credit. Thank you. :)

Japanese 390 Store Starts With Exclusive MLP Line
The Japanese retailer 390 (also known as Thank You Mart or Sankyu Mart) is known for selling items at their signature price of 390 yen (about $4). As of last week they released an exclusive My Little Pony line, with all items sold at the same price of 390 yen.
Included in the line are backpacks, keychains, pins, earrings, hair accessories and pouches.
It's highly unlikely that these will ever be available outside Japan, so this is exclusive to those who live there or are planning to visit the country. Nevertheless is this a very cute line of items with some more unique products and designs. Below are more details images of what's available.
Thanks to Stinken1 and Ayu for the heads-up!

MLP Merch Poll #94MLP Merch Poll #93 Results
Last week we asked you how you are planning to watch the upcoming Equestria Girls movie Legend of Everfree. Most of you do not want to wait and watch it straight at the premiere, which will be on Netflix. Second place is other streaming websites, so streaming movies is really popular among you all! Just behind that is the 'other' option (but we didn't get any replies about what they meant with that) followed by Discovery Family. The DVD/BluRay is the second to last option, with only Video on Demand getting less votes.
