After a small period of silence, Nici has put some new items on German shelves with these plush bags and purses. As usual the line starts with Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, but perhaps we'll see the other ponies soon. This line features big coin purses designed as pony heads, and purse bags which look like plush without stuffing. Designs of the ponies seem to be similar to the regular plush that Nici makes. See the images below for more details!

That's quite strange. Nici told me, that they don't have a license for MLP anymore (and have no further plans). And now they have sneaked in new stuff? Which you can't find online? Strange, very strange.
ReplyDeleteThey never stopped making MLP stuff just like how AJ and Rarity were released last year. It's only that they don't seem to sell them in their own stores in Germany rather than resellers, you can also find them (minus the new bags) at the official stores of other countries like the Chinese one on Taobao's brand domain > https://nicilq.world.tmall.com/category-983893095.htm?spm=a312a.7700718.w4010-7848564412.40.wREoli&search=y&parentCatId=143904505&parentCatName=%CF%B5%C1%D0%B7%D6%C0%E0&catName=My+Little+Pony#bd
DeleteThanks for the information, though that sounds kind of fishy, I must admit. Their license already did drop at the start of 2015, which is why they stopped selling this stuff here. (And yes, I've got this information directly from Nici after contacting them.) That's why I'm wondering. I've wrote them again, maybe they can tell me something.
DeleteI totally just wondered, why your name and avatar seems so familiar, but a look into the forum told me why. ^^ You know, THE forum D;
DeleteI guess they were refering to a distribution licence (don't know its actual name) for Germany, you need an own one for each country but that doesn't affect stores that are resellers (just like how anime goods get sold in comic shops without being licenced in the country).
DeleteHmm, okay, let's see, whether Nici can tell me something (if they actually do, one never knows)
DeleteThanks again for the input. :)
