Hasbro has released their official press statement for the upcoming line of Equestria Girls for 2017. Several figures have already been announced before, but there is plenty of new merch coming our way the coming months, including some interesting names! Expect sets with Starlight Glimmer, Daring Do, Trixie, Muffins (Derpy) and more, including a new character: Juniper Montage!
A big point of attention is the fact that all listings for this year's Equestria Girls line-up consists of Minis and with that it's officially over for the Equestria Girls dolls line. We'll await the Toy Fair for a definite conclusion, but the released info is a pretty big hint.

We've listed all press release information below and highlighted the more interesting names to make it a bit more readable.

She was announced months ago. And now images of her have finally surfaced. Here are the official images for the upcoming Adagio Dazzle Equestria Girls Minis Single. Together with her we also found images of the other upcoming Rainbow Rocks singles. They all look amazing! Don't they? What I like about these is how much they represent their animation counterpart in the movies. Their clothes are spot on! No word yet on an official release date though but we'll keep you guys updated! We also have no info yet if Aria and Sonata will join the minis line as well. Have all the images below!

A few minutes ago Enterplay posted this picture on their Facebook page with the following text: Wow, what are these? Very interesting... So at the moment we have no idea what these actually are but for me they look like possible series 4 trading cards. If this is correct then they will include the Equestria Girls as well as we see Adagio Dazzle looking sneaky in the back...

So no confirmation so far but they look like some new trading cards. All we have to do now is wait and see what happens.

Man we're sure getting bombed with new merch these days. Anyways Amazon decided to join as well as Amazon has listed a lot of new interesting new items! Some new Explore Equestria Characters including at least three new ones and a lot of new Minis which seems to be Rainbow Rocks themed judging by the fact that an Adagio one has been announced. Awesome!
So far no other information besides the listings is known. So we just have to wait and speculate for now.

This year, IDW will release two exclusive My Little Pony comic covers at the San Diego Comic Con. IDW has chosen to give the Fiendship is Magic TP (Trade Paperback) and Friendship is Magic #32 comic exclusive convention covers, in very very limited numbers.
The Friendship is Magic #32 comic will be limited to 500 copies at $5 each, and the Fiendship is Magic TP to only 100 copies for $25 each. In both cases people are only allowed to purchase a maximum of 3 of each comic.

Two new boxed sets of hardcover books are available for pre-order on Amazon: The My Little Pony Best Friends boxed set and the Equestria Girls boxed set. Both sets contain an impressive 960-pages worth of books! Buying a boxed sets saves you a bit of money over all the loose books, plus you'll have a neat box to store the books in.
Most of the books included in the two sets are written by G.M. Berrow, with the exception of  Rainbow Rocks, The Mane Event and Sunset Shimmer's Time to Shine, which are written by Perdita Finn. The Best Friends box will be released on September 1, and the Equestria Girls box on November 3. Check all the available info below or click on the links to see current the Amazon listing.

It's already time for the third issue of the Fiendship is Magic mini series with a comic about the Sirens. In this comic you'll read about the Sirens and how they became evil! Just like issue #2 this comic has 2 covers: A regular cover and a subscription variant.

The Fiendship is Magic series is a mini comic series by IDW that will be released throughout this month with a total of 5 comics and 1 bundled paperback.

The first time we heard anything about the Fiendship is Magic Series was when Amazon listed a paperback version of all the comics bundled together. Not long after that all the individual comics got revealed. But... don't want to buy all the comics separately? You are now also able to buy them all bundled together in this paperback! Today we finally got a look at the cover and I think it looks great! Love how the sirens are floating/swimming above the other villains. This cover was made by Amy Mebberson!

The paperback will be released on June 16, 2015. In the mean time you can pre-order it here on Amazon!

Queen Chrysalis by our own Ilona

Amazon listed something very interesting today: A brand new MLP comic paperback with never before seen stories. The listing description states that the villains that are included in this comic collection will be Sombra, Tirek, Sirens, Nightmare Moon and Queen Chrysalis. The total amount of pages will be 124, so that means that each story will be the usual 23 pages and 9 extra pages of IDW ads. This means that the Queen Chrysalis and Nightmare Moon stories from Friendship is Magic #1-4 and #5-8 will not be repeated in this paperback set and will in fact get new stories. Not will Sombra from the reflections arch be included, as that was a 4-parter as well. It's quite interesting to see 5 brand new stories without them being released before. This will also be the first comics to include Tirek and the Sirens (or did the EQG comic mention them?). The comic can now be pre-ordered at Amazon for $16.50 and will be released on June 30, after which the price will raise to $19.99.

We hope to get more information and cover art when the next IDW comics will officially be announced.

After the short Rainbow Rocks commercial from earlier this month, Hasbro has now released a 30 second commercial as well. This commercial features a lot of scenes from the Rainbow Rocks part 2 video combined with images of the dolls. In contrast to the earlier, shorter commercial this video does not only promote the singing Twilight Sparkle and Adagio Dazzle, but also the stage and neon singles. Seems like a new MLP Commercial has appeared. This time it's a commercial about the talking/singing Twilight Sparkle and Adagio Dazzle Equestria Girls dolls. You can watch the commercial below and it has also been added to our Commercial Database.

Just because I really like some of the artwork they use. Here are some newly found ones! They are from the Battle of the Bands game. But most of these will also appear on the back of some of the new Equestria Girls Dolls, like for example: The Neon doll ones, and the Fashion Doll ones. There has also been an Octavia one found together with the CMC. But only Octavia Appears in the style that match the ones on the back of the boxes.

Amazon has update their 'The Mane Event' listing with the cover of the book. The cover shows split faces of Twilight Sparkle and Adagio Dazzle, both with Rainbowfied hair. The book is written by Perdita Finn and will be released hardcover on October 7. Amazon has a short description of the book available which doesn't tell us anything about the actual story:

The third exciting adventure in the Equestria Girls series! The girls rock a new story about friendship at Canterlot High. The follow-up to Through the Mirror and Rainbow Rocks. Includes 14 pages of activities!

Adagio Dazzle Rainbow Rocks Artwork

This image was found on the Official Rainbow Rocks Website buried within the code. This image will give a better look of how Adagio Dazzle will appear in the series. It could also be part of the artwork they display on the back of the doll. But all of these are shaded, perhaps there will be a shaded one later.

Adagio Dazzle Equestria Girls Doll

Seems like Kmart has listed this new Adagio Dazzle Doll on their website. Not much was known about this character until now. She will be the leader of the rival band in the "Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks" Movie. From the looks of it she's like a hybrid of a pony and a bug. This is because her Pony Version (as seen on the packaging) has transparent butterfly-like wings. While this is still unconfirmed. It looks kind of interesting...

We also finally know her Cutie Mark, which is shown below her eye. It's a Treble Clef with a yellow diamond under it. The doll itself will be a deluxe doll with a voice-box, when you press her right arm she will talk and sing. Just like the Pinkie Pie and Twilight one.
