ReplyDeleteFigures are sooo good...but...big heads...maybe it is only me? Hope they won't haму such big heads in the show..
ReplyDeleteThe heads aren't any bigger than usual, it's a result from making the photos from a higher angle.
DeleteThis would be a good picture to show the sizing:

I Can't find them on TAOBAO :\ Wanted to order :\ I prefer first fluttershy with shouted mouth . They are adorable. and show accurate !
ReplyDeleteTaobao has an image search feature like Google where you only need to upload a picture to find something again. If you are on the world.taobao.com site, simply go to the dropdown at the very top left and pick the second option, you should have a "photo" image at the right of the searchbar then which is the image search.

Deletethank you so much .I managed to find this option but in results there are just regular G4, it doesn't show any updated G4 ponies. :\
Deleteomg fond them. only the picture with celestia worked.
DeleteI agree these mlp brushible ponies are show accurate
DeleteThese are really cute in my opinnion. I just hope that these are only for the movie, or else... well... it really wouldn't feel right to me...
ReplyDeleteWouldn't make any sense for a product advertisment series, the whole point of the movie is to gain new customers that didn't get attracted to the toys before, it only would make them loose those new customers again if it wasn't something permanent and it isn't like if redesigns within a generation would be something rare, just look at G1.
DeleteSo... you're saying that you think these are for the Movie or for G4.5 or...
DeleteI mean, these are cute and all, but the older ones look more "show accurate". I don't mind if the toys change. I just don't want the TV show to change. It would not feel right to me.

DeleteMinor changes don't make a new generation or else G1 would have consisted of over 5 generations. It's not the first time to happen in G4 either considering that the articulated brushables pretty much replaced the motion ones this year after people complained about the lack of posing for years, maybe this is the answer to all the complains of not looking close enough to the show.
DeleteBut I think it is best to wait for a photo of them standing next to each other, the angles of the photo's don't do the proportions any favors.
DeleteTrue. True. But what dosen't make sence to me though, is the fact that they literally JUST released a bunch of new toys. Then they decide to change? It don't really get that, but i do agree with you.
DeleteMost of the recent releases were already announced at the toy fairs in spring and when new brushables are found on Taobao it usually takes about a half year until they have their actual release. Considering that all OF THE recently announced merch for 2017 (like books) got the new logo different to the recent releases, it can be assumed that Hasbro planned an overhaul for 2017 already a while ago.
DeleteI mean, people are already pretty tired of the regular single brushables because it's always the same Mane6 brushables with some new minor details added and one or two background characters.
DeleteYeah... I guess that makes more scense. Thanks <3
DeleteI love these so much.
ReplyDeleteI knew these mlp brushible ponies were for the new mlp movie coming in 2017 i can't wait to get them!
