Toys'R'us has revealed their SDCC 2016 exclusives for this year. First of all I would like to mention that these are not "exclusive" as for example, the one from Hasbro. These are more of an introduction for their exlusive MLP line this year. So after the con these (and more) should be available in stores.
So as we can see the exclusive line will be called: "Elements of Friendship" as we can judge from the packaging. So far two kinds of sets have been announced. The first one is the Twilight Sparkle Friends collection. As you can see it features the Glitter Blind Bags with the partly painted manes so that's another mystery solved. What I like is that each Mane-six pony is combined with their "rival".
Next up is another mystery solved as we now know how the Glitter Equestria Girls Minis will be released. As you can see each character will be individually packaged with their Brushable (which also has a glitter coating and tinsel) and their Equestria Girls Minis variant. So far only Applejack and Rainbow Dash are shown but the others will be revealed soon as well. I'm not sure if this is all for this line as I expect there will be more. As always we will keep you updated.

DeleteYeah i totally agree! I would much rather have nothing than these re-releases with a few differences from the originals. I mean really, not everybody will be able to get the original set of EQG Mini's, and the crystal empire singles, so you know, our opinions matter more than the people who don't have those releases.

DeleteAhhh MAN! I was seriously expecting a deluxe brushable size of maniac mayhem like the others we got from the past SDCC toy r us exclusive. Or an exclusive fashion style like darinng do from last year. WHAT A RIPOFF!
ReplyDeleteThis year for MLP SDCC exclusive is lame and a ripoff. We got a dicord figure that look like the GoH one with a fluttershy figure that we can just get seperately in a cheaper price. Seriously, i almost would feel sorry for those toy collector who would buy these.
Those weren't TRU exclusive SDCC toys but the ones by Hasbro themself...
DeleteYour very lucky in america. In ireland pony things are more expensive and there is much less of them. The only mlp collectibles you can get in ireland are the big headed funko pop ones and they only released like 4 of them they are also overpriced. Although pony stuff does sell well here there really is no collectibles. So in a way your quite lucky :)

Deleteexcept instead of brushable hair they replaced it with molded.... even so if GoH figure i dont doubt they will make her separately. The reason it exclusive it bec it a pack.
Either way they should have think of something else. Fluttershy/discord is being overused for a product....
and in general. i mean i like them ,but them again?? i'm hoping something like maybe king sombra or Tierk . they also a baddest villains in mlp. that need to be made into a product.

I rather stick with the 12 inch dolls they seem more durable. I read some reviews saying the legs usually fall off of the Equestria Girls minis. I rather not waste my time on those. As mentioned before, you can literally use nail poilish or paint to get the look. I'm pretty it's less money to do it yourself.
