Though, there is one big surprise in the listing of this book, and that is the release date, which is set for next month (May 17, 2016)! Usually these books are announced months in advance, but not this time! Sadly the cover and synopsis are not included yet, but we hope to find more info on this 208-page thick book soon.

This is kind of old news — This book is, in fact, the mysterious "Equestria Girls 6". The date has been pushed back, unfortunately.

Legend Of Everfree novelization and storybook also got listed on the Hachette Book Group website... Release for September 6th. Does this mean the fourth movie will be released sooner than expected? (The previous 2 films were between Sept 20-30, with the novelization sometime after).
I actually suspect that it is also a prequeal that will get turned into shorts. Considering that the LoE book says they use their newly aquired superpowers, maybe Twilight found out and reveals how the magic works at a sleepover?
