First thing to mention is that Princess Celestia and Luna (Nightmare Moon) are not combined, but in fact separate figures. They come in a cyan box and are notably larger than regular brushable figures. The other action figures are a tad larger than brushables, because of the molded mane.
Another shot of the Guardians of Harmony is seen in their TV-show last night, in which Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner talked about the Toy Fair, Play-Doh and the financial results of Hasbro. The shot shows another angle of the Twilight Sparkle action figure and Shining Armor on the back of Spike. Shining Armor comes equipped with a shield and the armor itself looks pretty detailed!
More images of the Guardians of Harmony sets are expected around the NY Toy Fair.
OMG do these have anything to really go with the new season? if so.........does it mean spike will grow up? dun dun DUN
ReplyDeleteNo, wouldn't work anyways as by their release the season would be long over again considering it is starting in spring (I actually assume it starts mid May as we always get our new german season dub at the same airing date as the US and this year it's in May).
DeleteFrom the statement made before in the first post about these, these toys will go along with a new MLP comic series from IDW that will debut later this year.
DeleteI don't like the idea than figures are in different unrealistic sizes. they should be in their original proportions from show. little Crysalis ? please.
